“Wow, always wanted to stay in a castle, and I wasn’t disappointed. From start to finish the staff where polite, helpful and made some great suggestions of places to visit.
The bedroom was clean and well equipped, the shower was great and the bed was super comfy.
The food was delicious and wish I had longer there to try more dishes.
The grounds of the castle where delightful with some amazing views and plenty of space to wonder around.”

Let’s find out a bit more about him: Background in the hospitality industry? Sixteen years at a range of hotels, bars and restaurants. I’m from Bournemouth on the Dorset coast, my most most recent role being at the Urban Reef Seafood Restaurant What attracted you to Ruthin? I’ve recently moved into the town with my family and it’s a beautiful part of the world, featuring a stunning hotel. So much history and heritage here, bags of potential, which I’m looking forward to help realise What would you like to achieve at Ruthin? Develop the team, improve the levels of customer service, providing a fun, memorable experience for our guests. Developing a stronger relationship with the local community is certainly key Favourite dish on the menu? All of them, but a personal favourite of mine are our newly launched Yorkshire Pudding wraps. Served every Sunday, a very tasty treat to be enjoyed on a sunny afternoon in the Courtyard here at Ruthin Castle Tavern! Hailing from the coast, Stuart is a keen surfer and lover of the great outdoors, but with a baby on the way, time to head over to Borth for some waves or a hike in the hills may be limited!
